Wee Memories Challenge 47

It has been a long time since I have had a chance to play along at Wee Memories! I thought the "green" theme was so fun I just had to join in! I went along with the "green" theme here because several pieces on my card are scraps! So it's a recycled card..kinda! :)

Here is my "green" card for the week!

Today is the last day to link up for this challenge!  Click HERE to play too!

OH and I have to share one more thing!  Check this out....

My dad made this for me a couple weeks ago!  It is pretty much like the one Nichole had on her blog but he changed several things!  Instead of 6 shelves for ribbon...yes I WISH I had that much PTI ribbon...he made me 4 shelves for ribbon and 2 for CD's!  I have all 80 some sets right there!  I haven't painted it yet because we are getting ready to remodel the basement and I am not sure if I want it to be white or black.  My scrapbook room is Red and Black so we will see what happens when I move into a new room!  (Yes that means I have to get rid of my gorgeous retro wall mirrors you see here!  Man I am going to miss those. {insert sarcastic grin here}

Thanks for coming by today!  Have a great Friday!

  9. As always, Laurie, your card is GORGEOUS! Love the pink, green, brown color combo.

    Lucky you to have a talented Dad! As a woman who has black furniture in my studio, I suggest you GO WHITE! The black shows everything, and it's very hard to find clear embellishments on black. Good luck on your remodeling project. What fun it will be when it's done...can't wait to see the pictures.

    Envy over here for your lovely shelf. My father-in-laws handy, but I could never leave everything open. My daughter would never leave it alone ... she has a habit of re-organizing my stuff when she can. ;D

So lucky to have a handy dad who's kind enough to make you one of these. I really like how it stores the ribbon because it's so easy to take out the spool you need. Enjoy it!
